Areas of Activity

The Group is currently divided into two business areas: Services Outsourcing and Engineering and Mobility Solutions

The Services Outsourcing activities include: (1) Business Process Outsourcing; (2) Outsourcing of IT Infrastructures; (3) Contact Centers and (4) IT Consulting. The area of Engineering and Mobility Solutions include: (1) Engineering systems; (2) Mobility systems; (3) Personalization of financial documents.

1. Provision of services

1.1 Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)
Reditus is one of the major BPO companies in Portugal. Through its specialised human resources, specific methodologies, optimised and flexible procedures and information technologies, Reditus currently presents the best outsourcing solutions in the field of data processing.

The BPO activities include: document preparation, needs analysis, data analysis, data entry, scanning, file management and general routine.

The Group includes among its customers several large companies, particularly in the bank, insurance and telecommunications sectors, in which it deals with operations with a high level of complexity and confidentiality.

1.2 Outsourcing of IT Infrastructures (OII)
The area of Outsourcing of IT Infrastructures provides companies with integrated management of their whole information system, from servers to work stations, including user support components. The overall objective is to optimise the performance of the information system, particularly in terms of productivity and security.

This area is a reference in the financial and telecommunications market, in which it offers high levels service and quality control. Training and technical resources, together with the adoption of international best practices based on ITIL standards (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), are essential to generate competitive advantages which position us among market leaders.

The services provided by this area include: Information and Communication Technologies HelpDesk (Service Desk), Equipment Management and Maintenance, Network and Systems Management and Maintenance, Data Network Design and Implementation (Networking and Security).

There are currently 138 Technology and Information Systems technicians who support more than 45,000 direct IT users with an average of 55,121 occurrences resolved per month.

1.3 Contact Centers
Reditus provides complete Inbound and Outbound services, Outsourcing of Infrastructure and Human Resources, as well as Support Services for Multichannel Customer Service Optimisation Management. There are currently more than 200 Contact Center stations (of which 85 on its own premises) and around 150 Call Center agents who process more 6,000 telephone calls per day.

1.4 IT Consulting
The IT Consulting area provides Consultancy services in Information Technologies, including: (1) Development of Original Applications (2) Ongoing Maintenance of Applications (3) Customisation of Applications.   

It is a strategic area for Reditus which is positioned as a provider of a high added value service, and constitutes an important achievement and upgrade of our offering for the areas of Technology and Information Systems.

2. Engineering and Mobility Solutions

2.1 Engineering Solutions
Reditus, through its subsidiary Caléo in France, develops solutions for back-end production of Semiconductors and other Microelectronics Components, through the Development and Optimisation of Processes, Systems Design and Manufacture and Turnkey Sales of Customised Equipment, as well as the provision of installation, technical support and maintenance services.

Reditus has recently developed innovative technology in the labels intelligent sector, using RF ID (Radio Frequency Identification) architecture.

Reditus customers on this field include the largest international manufacturers of semiconductors and other microelectronic components, in particular those used in military and aerospace equipment, in vehicle electronics, in telecommunications, in optoelectronics and in “intelligent cards”, covering an area that includes Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

2.2 Mobility solutions
In Portugal, through its subsidiary BCCM, the Reditus Group develops and implements specific solutions for geo-referencing and telemetrics. These solutions are used by passenger and freight transport companies, security transport companies and emergency services, as well as by all entities that own fleets of vehicles and whose business requires information to be obtained in real time.

2.3 Personalization of financial documents
Based on the high technology LFF printing and on specific applications developed for this area, Reditus provides, on a complete outsourcing, personalisation, finish and handling services for cheques and other documents for the financial market.

Reditus currently processes monthly around 2 million documents at different stages of printing, finishing and handling, such as personalisation, the printing of optical scanning characters, cutting and finishing, binding, enveloping and sending, thus completing the full circle that started with the reception and processing of electronic files.
