Reditus reaches 60 million euros in Operating Revenue in the 1st semester of 2015

 
  • Operating Revenue of 60.0 million euros (vs. 60.8 million euros)
  • EBITDA of 5.0 million euros (vs. 5.6 million euros)
  • EBITDA margin of 8.4% (vs. 9.2%)
  • Net Result of 325 thousand euros (vs. 410 thousand euros)
  • International Sales represent 38% of the Revenues.
 
1. Summary of the Activity
 
During the first semester of 2015 (1S15), Reditus has continued its strategy of expanding international operations while keeping on with the efforts of consolidating their position in the national market. One of the main priorities of the Group has been to continuously focus on operations’ efficiency and to invest in services of higher added value.

It needs to be pointed out that, in the period under analysis, there is still a delay in the decision-making on investments by clients regarding international projects, that shall be resumed in the 2nd half of the current year.

Operating Revenues amounted to 60.0 million euros, which represents a 1.4% drop compared to the same period in the previous year, caused by the delay experienced in starting international projects, namely in the African market. At the home market, the activity had a great performance with a growth of 3.5% driven by the increase of SAP Consultancy and Implementation area. The EBITDA corresponds to 5.0 million euros, equivalent to an EBITDA margin of 8.4%.

Reditus Mozambique in MozTech 2015

Reditus Mozambique, will be attending the MozTech 2015, the largest trade show of Information Technologies and Communications of Mozambique, to be held in Maputo, on 6, 7 and 8 May.

The company is going to participate in close collaboration with ROFF, the Reditus’ company specialized in SAP consulting.

Reditus recruits 150 trainees

The program comes after the recognition by the IEFP of its Strategic Interest for the internships program that is being developed by this entity.

Reditus is Recruiting for its Technological Business Areas

Reditus, has 250 open positions in technological areas, with particular emphasis on SAP, .Net, Java, Outsystems and telecommunications.

Specifically for SAP and Java areas, Reditus is developing training academies for recent graduates. These training academies will provide candidates with technical, procedural and process backgrounds. After the training, which will last approximately a month and a half, the candidates will be ready to be part of the projects the company is involved with.

Candidates must be recent graduates and have basic skills tailored to the position they are applying.

Reditus distinguished as IBM Best Hardware Partner

Reditus was once again distinguished by IBM, this time with the award for Best Hardware Partner 2014.

This distinction was awarded to Reditus during the IBM Annual Business Partner Meeting and reinforces the IBM recognition on Reditus’ competence and excellence, result of a partnership with over 30 years.

The distinction was delivered by Antonio Raposo de Lima, president of IBM Portugal at an event attended by over a hundred representatives of IBM's business partner network in Portugal and where the manufacturer recognized the contribution of the five most prominent partners in their business activity in 2014.

Reditus recognized as major IT Reseller

Reditus received the award for Biggest IT Reseller in 2014 from Schneider Electric Portugal, in 2014.

The prize awarded by Schneider, was presented during the 15th Partner Gala which took place in Lisbon, in the Chamber of Commerce of Lisbon.

This is the second consecutive year, that Schneider acknowledges Reditus, as its largest IT reseller.

EBITDA of Reditus increases by 57.7% during the 1st half of 2014

  • Net Income of 409.7 thousand euros (vs. 259.8 mil euros)
  • International Sales accounted for 41% of the Revenues
Note: In the fiscal year of 2013, Reditus proceeded to the reclassification of the assets available for sale on the grounds that the conditions in IFRS 5 had not been met - Non-Current Assets Held for Sale and Discontinued Operational Units - in order to maintain this classification.
 
 
 
1. Summary of the Activity
 
In the 1st half of 2014 (1S14), Reditus has obtained a strong growth of its international activity, registering an increase of 31.5% compared with the same period of the previous year, and kept practically unchanged the performance of operations in the domestic market reflecting the generally adverse economic environment that continued to affect Portugal.
 
The income of the first six months of the year show assertiveness of Reditus Group in the development of its strategy, notably the high priority on international activity representing 41% of the total turnover in 1S14, compared with 34% inthe same period of the previous year.
 
Operating Revenues amounted to 60.8 million euros, an increase of 8.1% versus the same period of the previous year. In the Service Delivery component, the increase was 10.6%, representing 84.0% of Revenues, value to be compared with 82.1% in 1S13.
 
The continued focus on operational efficiency and investment in higher value-added services enabled an increase in profitability, with EBITDA of the Group recording an increase of 11.1% over the same period of the previous year, representing an EBITDA margin of 9.2% (vs. 8.9% in 1S13).

Contact Center managed by Reditus awards APPC

The CTT (Portuguese postal services Company) online customer support services, managed by Reditus, were awarded the Silver Medal at the APCC Best Awards 2014, in the category Distribution and Logistics.

The prize was awarded by the Portuguese Association of Contact Centers (APCC), aiming to distinguish organizations that stand out for the implementation and adoption of Good Organizational Practices in its Contact Centers.

Last year, the CTT and Via CTT lines were also awarded by APCC with the Bronze Medal, recognizing the services rendered by Reditus, namely, Customer Support, General Information, Suggestions and Complaints, Postal Codes, Search and Tracking Service, Tolls, Philately, among others.
